During the years of independence "Uzbek metallurgycal enterprise" joint-stock manufacturing amalgamation considerable enhanced its stand among the manufacturers of the metal rolling and successfully works on products that would replace imported ones. Production of ferrous metal rolling increases every year.

It is envisaged that the final reconstruction and technical reequipment of the enterprise will not only cause increase of producing rolled metal, but also considerably improve its quality. The enterprise develops the foreign economic activity directed to establishment of stable relations with foreign partners.

Today one can ascertain that the work done during 10 years of independence was effective.
